Fill your week with action, adventure, and a lot of comedy with LOL Lego and Clay Animation camp. Mentored by master filmmakers, campers will engage in hands-on exploration of the stop motion animation process, including pre-production, production, and postproduction. Working in small crews, they will learn about stop motion animation, set design, script writing and editing. Campers will then create their own stop motion animation and edit a short film and movie trailer. Movies will be presented at our red carpet, popcorn film festival and archived on our digital theatre. Activities from 7:30-9am and 4-6pm will be provided by PBG City Staff. LOL Film studios delivers the excitement of Hollywood to your campers! Filled with adventure, intrigue and a lot of comedy, our box will help make your summer camp a blockbuster to remember. Each film crew will use a Mac Book, HD camera, tripod, green screen, and boom mic under the guidance of their own filmmaker. Family and friends will join us at the LOL Red Carpet Film Festival at the end of the week to enjoy blockbusters and, of course, some popcorn. Ever dream of becoming a secret agent? We'll start with the basics: From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision. Campers will have the opportunity to check out spy tech equipment and take-home lots of gadgets like spy glasses! Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Figure out the science of forensics in a hands-on look at crime scenes! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a journey into the world of investigation that spies use! Please bring lunch and snacks daily. KB Social Artworking gets right down to students' level to guide them step-by-step to create an original piece of artwork. Each child will create a different masterpiece every day! Projects will include painting on canvas and wood. This program improves confidence, creativity & problem-solving skills. All supply fees are included. Creative Contraption Warning! This is a camp designed by you—the Inventor! Each day you’ll be given a series of challenges which must be overcome by using basic materials, simple machines, tips from world famous inventors and the most important thing of all – your mind! With a little bit of ingenuity, you’ll construct catapults and forts and then lay siege, fabricate a winning Egg Drop design, construct a dancing robot, and assemble a working light sword to take home. While Thomas Edison said invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration, this camp is 100% fun! Please bring water bottle and snacks daily. Linking this camp with the morning Krafty Kids camp? Children will learn how robotics and coding works in our world today and how these technologies will continue to affect our future! They will engage in the mechanical aspects of robots, with gears, gear ratios, torque, hydraulics, and pneumatics through hands-on activities include building gear sets, operating a robotic arm, and building their own robot to take home. Plus, they will be introduced to the world of coding and computer programming through fun games and puzzles. Please bring lunch and snacks daily. Take an in-depth look at the science behind everyday machines and cool science in this camp about engineering. We’ll see how your Jr. Mad Scientist brings their inner engineer to life while they construct an amazing kaleidoscope, learn about levers and automatons, and create their own contraptions. In the process even become architects by building our own geodesic dome that we’ll even get a chance to climb inside. Mad Science supply fees are included. We never met an artist who didn’t care about the environment and using themes such as BLUE and GREEN and UPCYCLE & RECYCLE, young artists will find new ways to color our world through the magic of creative conservation! This admired fine art program with a well-established studio in Juno Beach now comes to Palm Beach Gardens with a new theme and different projects each week! All supplies are included. Campers will receive a KNMA T-shirt and a fun canvas bag. Please bring a water bottle and snacks every day. Art programming begins at 1pm and ends at 4pm. Learn to utilize digital marketing and marketing strategies to attract visitors. Team up with other students, exchange ideas, and support each other's growth! Witness your potential soar as you embark on an unforgettable adventure in entrepreneurship and website design, all while having a blast!
